Suggested Uses for the Flourishing At Work Cards
These cards can be used with individuals or groups to stimulate discussion and as the basis for action planning.
- Use them to introduce ideas. These cards are ideal for introducing some of the exciting ideas from positive psychology in an easy and fun way to individuals or groups.
- Use them to help prioritise action. Don’t know where to start with the wellbeing drive? Use these cards to decide what really matters in your organisation and how to move things forward.
- Use them as a group exercise. Ask a group to each pick a card, and to explain why they chose that card. Then, ask the next person to introduce their choice, connecting with what has already been said. Create an exciting conversation of possibility connecting all the ideas
- Use them in coaching. Help leaders understand what makes a difference to people at work. Identify some of the simple things they can do or can introduce to boost people’s wellbeing at work.
- Use them as the basis for the development of a wellbeing culture. Work with the ideas in the pack to move beyond individual wellbeing activities like mindfulness and yoga.
