What's included:
- Your own Birkman Signature Report plus ~1 hour conversation
with one of our facilitators
- Online Prep Course to be completed prior to Certification
dates. (About 4 hours of content)
- Approx 20 hours of Live Training (either In-Person or
Virtual Certification), including teaching, class discussions and practice
activities with other participants
- 2 free Birkman questionnaires and Signature Reports for the
purpose of practice conversations post-Certification
- An additional 2 hours of Live Training in the form of a
Re-connect session approx 4 weeks after Certification (via Zoom)
- Ongoing access to our Meet Ups and new resources produced

The Process
Registration | Once you complete registration for Certification we'll send
you a schedule with all the stages of the programme, and get you set up with
your own Birkman Questionnaire and Report if you haven't already completed
Birkman. |
Conversation | As part of the course, you'll have a one-hour conversation
about your own report, with one of our programme facilitators, 3 weeks before
the Live Training. This will help familiarise (or refresh!) you on the data and
what your report says about you. |
Prep Course | You'll then be enrolled in the Birkman Method Certification
Prep Course, and will have 2 weeks to work through the online content (this
usually takes around 4 hours). |
Live Training | If you're enrolled in Virtual Certification, the Live
Training will take place over 5 or 10 days, with 1 or 2 Zoom sessions each day
of 2.5 hours each (total of 25 hours). If you're enrolled in In-Person
Certification, the Live Training will take place over 3 days, usually running
from 9am-5pm each day. |
Launch | Once the Live Training stage is complete you will be a
fully-fledged Birkman Certified Professional! We'll help you set up an account
(if applicable), and you can get started sending questionnaires and running
reports. To ensure that you get the best start, we continue to provide support,
starting with a bonus Re-connect session ~4 weeks after the Live Training. This
is an opportunity to gather the class back together (virtually) and share some
additional tips and guidance, as well as hear how your first coaching sessions
have gone!

Outcomes
On completion of this programme you will be equipped with a
clear understanding of The Birkman Method framework and data, and the ability
to explain and interpret the Birkman Map, Interests and Component scoring
patterns.
You'll be able to:
- understand how these scores apply to individuals across their work contexts and in their interactions with others.
- analyse how 2 individual's scores will interact and the areas most likely to cause friction or frustration between them.
- read group data and interpret dynamics at play within a team, across a range of components.
- deliver a competent interpretation & coaching conversation using the Signature Report.
Ongoing Support
We know that completing Certification is just the first step in becoming a confident and experienced Birkman professional. You'll have questions and challenges along the way, and that's why we're committed to not just training you upfront, but also supporting you as you get started, and for the long-haul.
One of the ways we continue to train and equip the people we certify in the Birkman Method is our bi-monthly BCP Meet Ups, which we've been running for the past 5 years.
These 60 minute Zoom sessions are designed to provide you with opportunities to develop specific application-based knowledge, skills and experience, that you can then apply in your own Birkman practice. They are also a chance to connect with other BCPs from around the world, and to share your own insights with others.
